Mo's monthly blog hop

Finally i'm online. Having some problems with my internet.

If you came here from Mel you're on the right track, if not and you missed the beginning of Mo's dream team hop, go and start here on Suzanne's blog.

Anyways, this month we had to make a Happy New Year pop-up card and it was pretty fun actually to try something new. We got this cute little image from Mo to use on our cards.
If you're inspired to try out some of the cuties that Mo has in her shop and since i'm the last on the list this time, I recommend you to check out Mo's shop.
The image we have used this time is called "Reach for the Stars"

Well my hubby came home and helped me so here comes the pictures.

Christmas card

Got some cute stamps from Motivet in mail the other day and decided to make a christmas card♥
Well i had a little accident with the card*blush* First time i stamped my text on it it was upside down....eeeeek....since i liked the card and didn't want to cast it aside, i tried to fix it. That's why there's two of the same text on it*lol* I have to mention that i tried almost everything, included having something over there, but it didn't looked nice at all.
In the Motivet blog there's a weekly challenge up and since i liked the sketch i decided to play along.
Over at I love promarkers there's a challenge where they want to see spots and stripes on cards and since my card has both, i'm entering there too.
This card has snowflakes, glitter and is a Christmas card so it has/is everything what was asked over at Creatalicious Challanges.

1st Advent!

Today is 1st Advent, which means that it's not long time til Christmas♥
This year we will be driving home to my family again and we are all very excited:) It will be good to spend the holidays with them.

Just wanted to apologise for my lack of posts lately.
I feel like i haven't done anything else the past couple of months than being sick:( First we all had a flu, then there were some new adjustments at the work that took all my time and energy and now i'm having some problems with my kindneys.

Between everything i missed Mo's blog hop and i feel really bad about it:(
I made a card but i messed up the dates. I will add it shorthly, after i take a photo of it. I hope you girls enjoyed the hop, cause there were some amazing cards made:)

There is also a cool challenge up at Mo's challenge blog. This weeks challenge is to make a Christmas scene using at least two images from Mo's Digital Pencil. Go and play along!
I haven't managed to learn yet how to put together different digistamps on my computer, but when i do that, i'll definitely try this.

Today, i finally managed to put together a new card. This image from Mo's is just adorable.
I coloured it with copics, actually my first card where i use image coloured with copics. The picture is crappy like always, when i take it inside. I really need to buy me one of these daylight lamps, Ottlite.

Have a big box full of scraps that i never use, so my goal this month is to make at least 5 cards using the papers from the box.

Bronte wants it now

A Christmas card that has been finished for a week now, just haven't got around taking the picture:) It's such a darling image i think♥

This is going to happen every third thursday of the month for Mo's Dream Team, so join in the fun!
If you came from Mina's blog then you are on the right track and if not, then why don't you join us from the start over at Lori's blog.
There's a lot of beautiful cards to inspire you!

This month's challenge was Lori's - "Use your favorite Mo Stamp along w/ favorite color combo"

Well i found it a bit difficult,'cause i have a lot of favorites from Mo, but i finally managed to make up my mind and landed on these two cuties, called two tu-tus. For the color combo i used pink and brown:)

WOJ challange 50

I have used the sketch over at Whiff of Joy Challanges and made a Christmas card:) Love Henry the Mouse, he's just adorable♥
Used a lot of glitter all around the card to make it extra glittery:)
The colors on the picture lie a little, because the red PP and colors on the mouse are more darker and matching the flower perfectly.

Stamps: WOJ, Stempelglede
Pattern papers: Pandurohobby
Embellishments: pearl from Melissa Frances, flower from Prima, sugar coating glitter
Tools: Martha Stewart punch, sewing machine,
Coloring: distress ink refills

A wedding/birthday card

A friend asked me if i could make a card for her. It had to be to a couple who got married and celebrated their 50th birthday on the same day. So it had to be a wedding/birthday card.
It was harder then i first thought.
Anyway, thats what i came up with and she liked it a lot, so that's what matters:)
Got the idea of having pearls around the heart from Stempelglede's DT. I think it was beautiful♥

Stamps: Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Hearts (Thanks Lene for buying these to me ♥)
Pattern papers: Dream Street Papers
Embellishments: large and small roses, tulle, glimmermist, pearls from Melissa Frances.
Tools: Martha Stewart edge punch, sewing machine. QK Chick-a-Dee
Coloring: Colorbox fluid chalk inkpad and distress inkpad

And let the games begin!

The Mo's or should i be saying Bronte and Bella's challange blog is up and running.
Come and join us:)

Bella and Bronte making a card

Got this adorable stamp from Mo in my mailbox and just had to make a card with it.
I made this for a challange over at LM( Lifetime memories ).
The challange was to use pearls and since i love these pearls from Kaiser's it didn't took long time for me to come up with an idea:)
I've used stamps from Mo's Digital Pencil and Magnolia, PP comes from Panduro and Maja Design.

WOHOOOOOOOO

I still can't believe the mail i got today.
I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the DT member over at Mo's Digital Pencil.
Wohooo... pinch me, so that i can find out if i'm dreaming!!!
If you haven't heared about this site, you definetly should take a look.
Mo is so talented and drwaing the cutest stamps ever♥

Two tutu's

A friend of Victoria is having a birthday next week, so i needed to make a card. Loving these little cuties from Mo, so i just had to use them again♥
It also matches the challange over at passion for promarkers, which is any colours & polka dots, so i'm playing along this week too:)

it's a boy thing

I ♥ Promarkers challange & Mo's Digital Pencil

I'm in love! Seriously, these digtal stamps are the cutest ever. I feel that every card with these images is going to turn out beautiful. I own five of her stamps and i already want more....
This card i made for the I ♥ Promarkers challange blog, which i found yeaterday.
Loved the sketch.

Passion for Promarker and Papertake weekly

I haven't made cards for a long time now, just because i can't seem to find any inspiration or actually the insipration is there, i just feel that i can't get it on the paper.
So yesterday, i took some papers and startet to make a card. I knew which colors i wanted to use, i knew that i wanted to use flowers and sewing machine, but i had no idea which image will come on the card. So when i found this lovely stamp at Mo's, i knew that these girls will be perfect!
I finsihed it and i love how it turned out ♥ Just so cute and girly ♥
After visiting a whole lot of blogs today, i stopped on a blog called Passion for Promarker and you know what? This weeks challange was to make a girly & glittery card and of course to use promarkers. Yeiiii... my card matched the challenge perfect!
The first picture is a bit blurry, but it's taken in terrible light, without flash, just to show you that i have used some glitter:)

Since they have wings and the challange over at papertake weekly challange is angels and fairies, i'll enter there too:)

Back to the everyday life

Now we're back form Estonia, actually been back for about 2,5 weeks now, but haven't had the time to sit down and blog about our vacation.
So finally, thanks to the fact that Victoria has had fever for some days now and we're home, doing pretty much nothing, i'll find the time to write a little about our trip.
Well, the first week of the vacation was a bit crappy one for me, since i was sick...lost my voice, had fever, yeah had everything that comes with the flu.
Was even in hospital and tried to find out if i had pig flu, lol!
Even though i was sick, we managed to drive to Riga and Jurmala and spend some time there. Love Jurmale, it's a very pretty small town.
The next three weeks were pretty much spending time with the family, a few parties, visiting friends, sunbathing on the beach etc... the usual.
I can say that we had a great vacation and i wish it lasted longer.I also wish that i could have spent some extra time with Gerli and Kristi. Although i saw Gerli a lot, i still feel it was too little. I'm lucky to have you as my friends, girls. ( Gerli has written about our "adventures" (read parties) in her blog so if you want to read, you know where do find it).
We spent a lot of time with my family, which i'm thankful for.
Big hugs and thanks to my sisters for looking a lot after Victoria, so that we could spend some time alone... something we do not get very often, since both families are living far away. Mine in Estonia and his all over the Norway, lol!

Here comes some pictures, as they say more than words:)
PS! They will come, just have to take them out of my cam first ;)

Just a little note

to let you know that i'm on vacation.. been in Estonia for about three weeks now, enjoying the time with my family ♥, good weather, delicious food and parties with friends.... will update with new photos, when we're back in Norway:)

A bit sunshine

Jippiii, finally we have summer up here in north. The sun is shining and it's a lovely +25 degrees outside Smiley from millan.net
I'm taking it slow this weekend, cleaning the house, packing our bags and making some last cards which i have promised to make before we take vacation.
It has been a long year with work, work and work all day long, so i feel i'm in desperate need of free time.

Well, i have to run now as the washing machine is finished and the laundry needs to be hanged out before we go to buy something to eat. Mmmm .... i think, i'm in mood for tacos:)

Here are two cards i made for a co worker.

Wow!

Well, I think the blog hop was a success, so many new visitors on my site. Thank you all for taking the time to comment my card. You made my day!
The new DudaDaze collection will be relased this weekend, so if you liked a stamp, you can order it from Funky kits .

One of my co-workers got a little baby girl, so we needed a newborn-card.
Made this card for little Enya:)♥

sugar nellie blog hop

Welcome! I'm so glad to have YOU here!

You should have just arrived from Suzannes blog , so you know a bit what's this is about:)

I was one of the lucky ones to recieve a brand new stamp by Diane Duda.
Isn't she just gorgeous with her little heart? I knew right away what i'm going to do with her and i think that the quote: Where ever you go, go with all your heart is perfect for this little princess.
On my card i have used some papers from cosmo cricket and from the norwegian papirdesign. Pearls come from kaisercraft and the text is printet out.
Hop over to Paula to see what she has made with the stamp she recieved.

Have a great weekend!!!

something new on a rainy day

Here's another card i've made a while ago.
Really simple and clean. It's fun to try something else for a change :)

2 Sketches 4 You

2 Sketches 4 You is celebrating their 1 year anniversary with the Ultimate Card Showdown.
And the fabulous prize for the winner is just amazing. It is worth over $500!!
Here's the sketch by Laura and my take on it.
Loved the sketch a lot so i will definetly use it more.
The card i made it's so not me. It's very simple and a bit "freestyle"ish. But i kinda like the way it turned out.

whiff of joy birthday mouse

Victoria got a birthday invitation in the mail the other day, to a boys birthday.
I'm not so good at "boy" cards but i'm actually quit satisfied with this card i made yesterday. I looove my new MS punch and this little mouse from woj :)

a new oldies card

Here's a new card i made with a golden oldie from art impressions :)
I have used a lot of glimmermist over the whole card, but since it's just so hard to get it on the pic you kinda have to believe what i'm saying;)
Have one more card i want to show you, but i'll have to wait til my friend recieves it before it can post it here.

Oops I did it again...

It's so easy to forget about this blog. I haven't updated since the start of the month and suddenly it feels so long time ago.
While life has seemed incredibly busy, nothing huge has happened I guess. It's mostly been work and enjoying the nice weather we have got. Trying to be most of the days out and and enjoying the time with our family.Smiley from millan.net
Well, the little guy whom i wrote about the last post has a name now, TASSEN!
He's just the cutest and we love him a lot:)

Will add some photos from last week:)
